Heidi Goldbach

Heidi Goldbach has many years of experience both as a performer and teacher. Her performing career began with competing in both regional and national dance and modeling competitions earning her many awards including Miss Dance of CT. , Miss New Haven County, Miss Shoreline and Miss Nutmeg. She has served as a member of the Miss Ct. USO Troupe and has performed in Las Vegas and Disneyland. As a member of Dance Masters of America ( New York City and CT Chapters ), The National Dance Education Organization, The National Association of Dance and Affiliated Artists Inc and The American Society of Composers, Authors and Publishers she continues to travel to New York to further her dance techniques. She has studied with many master teachers including, Luigi, Phil Black, Frank Hatchett, Desmond Richardson, Rhonda Miller, Tyce Diorio and Chris Judd. She was most recently the recipient a certificate of merit awarded with honors for her partciipation and accomplichments at the fundamenatls of ballet technique workshop held July 2013 in NYC under the direction of Finis Jhung.
Sarah Tolson
Associate Teacher
Sarah Hanke began her dance training at the age of 2. Her competitive dance career led her to gain numerous gold, platinum and overall high score awards both nationally and internationally. Sarah has studied with such notable choreographers as Sheila Barker, Tyce Diorio, Eddie Garcia, Barry Youngblood and Cris Judd. Sarah's performance credits include performing at Lincoln Center, NYC, with the Radio City Rockettes, dancing in the Nutcracker on Broadway, and performing on Carnival Cruise Ships. Sarah is the Associate teacher at MPAC. Her students have won many medals, titles, overall high score awards, choreography and performance distinction awards. Most recently, Sarah was awarded Entertainer of The Year Nominee. Sarah graduated from Albertus Magnus College with a BA in psychology. She leads an early childhood program and stresses the importance of Art and Movement in her classroom. Sarah's greatest passion in life is encouraging her students to become their personal best. It gives Sarah an immense amount of pride to work with such an amazing team of students, parents and teachers at MPAC. Go Purple !
Jennifer Sfreddo
Performing Arts Teacher
Jennifer O'Mara has been pursuing her passion for the performing arts for many years. She is an internationally award winning dancer/singer/actress/model and has held titles including Olympic Miss Dance and Sophisticated Miss Dance. In addition to being an original member of the MPAC dance team she has also studied Musical Theater at The Hartford Conservatory and has competed in the Miss CT pageant system. Jennifer has studied voice since the age of 10 with Eduardo Perez and has won many vocal awards and performed in The White House at The Ambassadors Holiday Ball. She is a national award winning choreographer and teaches voice, dance and musical theater . Jennifer has also choreographed and directed for the Bailey Drama Club and Alliance Children's Theater. Jennifer is a pre school teacher at an advanced learning child care center! This will be her 26th year at MPAC!
